Last Saturday Corey and I made a “wings run” as he is almost certain to say. He loves the Wild Wings Cafe in
We both ordered Chicken Nuggets, being too lazy to strip the bones and create a huge pile of “carnage”, as he likes to say. I favor and the with Yuengling draft, while he goes for and and glass after glass of unsweet tea!
Just look at that happy face, those wings, and the giant fries! You can’t ask for a better day than that my friends!
However, today was a happy day too. Ron is back!
Ron and I met up with Steve, Gary, and
Oh, and the Baker’s Choice Pizza was wonderful too!
It was good to get together with the guys again, but Ron being back, holding a draft again, made it even more special.
After burgers, pizza, and a Chicken Ruben for Ron, we crossed the parking lot to the Irish Times Pub for a black & tan for dessert! Where we watched part of the Tennessee vs. South Carolina basketball game at the SEC Tournament - we won!

Sounds like a great day was had by all! I'm really looking forward to having the choice for "play day" any day without if having to be a weekend, my taking leave or a holiday! 4 1/2 yrs- 8 1/2 yrs and counting!! Still a gainfully employed government employee but looking forward to your kind of life!!*** Belton Belle
Much as I know you enjoy your quality father-son time, I was really happy when I read you said your BIL Ron was able to be back with you again. Hope all continues to go full speed ahead for him!
Get ready for "March Madness", again, dude!
I can pretty much get into basketball. I actually was a pretty decent player myself, in high school.
Of course, when there were only NINE boys out of a THIRTEEN-student class, "beggars really COULD be choosers"....!
Pizza and beer...
mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Wonderful! Great to see ALL the knights out again. As I write this, a buddy of mine is on his way here from VA with a case of Yuengling Traditional Lager and a case of Black & Tan. Good times will be had.
Fireball wing? Sounds great to me!!
A chicken Reuben? That sounds strange, but I love Reubens so I would try give it a try.
You need some French fried sweet potatoes to go with that.

Right Truth
They serve grits and beer in any of those swank places you went to or is that just a Texas thang.
Sorry - yeah, I've been lagging behind on the visits but what a
great first sight - Ron back tilting ales with the Knight squad! He looks great! Yee-haw - God bless him (even though He did already).
Yeah Mushy,
You can't get closer to heaven than that - that you're team happened to also win was surely the icing on top! (Smile)
Happy to see Ron is back up and rolling....and as usual, the foot and quality beers look great!
Shopping or food? Hmmm, that's a no brainer. I'm with Charlotte!
Glad Ron was well enough to join you guys again;)
We went to Irish Times once, during their first month of opening. It was so crowded that we haven't been back since.
Too bad the vols lost to Arkansas but maybe they'll put a run together for the NCAA.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day Mushy and may the wind be at your back(especially when you have a 220 yard carry over water to a well bunkered green)!
Slainte
Yuuuuum. Chicken wings are my achilles heel. Sounds like a good time and I'm so glad to hear that your friend Ron is doing better.
Love me some Smoky Mtn Brewery! I bet I passed the ladies at the Expo!!
