Most recently we honored one of the Dragon’s birthdays. Everyone brought something special to eat, their own coolers filled with their favorite libation, and love in their hearts.
Noel, the eldest Knight, brought his guitar and amp and played beautiful country tunes for everyone. Some enjoyed them more than others and attempted to back him up! Just click on THE BACKUP SINGERS and you can get just a touch of their efforts!
It might have been the “cherry moonshine” I don’t know, but they sang their little pee pickin’ hearts out – don’t you think!
I love my family and the best part is they love me – or at least they did before I posted this!
Anyway, posted here are all five of the Knights (Noel separate on the guitar), and all five of the Dragons. “The Backup Singers” feature Judy (my favorite Dragon) and Neena.

Don't let anyone tell 'em they ain't got rhythm. I'll have to pull that one up and show it to the music class down the hall. See what they think. Of course, this is adding a new dimension to the Mushyworld - moving pictures and sound. MUCH harder to Photoshop, but something tells me you're learning.
Noel plays a damn nice rhythm guitar and The Back-Up Singers have some good rhythm of their own going there. That's great fun stuff, Mushy. Nothing as good in this world like it, is there?
Family times are the best of times!
So will you be sexing up one of the backup singers tonight? LOL!
The ladies know they can't sing, but they love being together and acting a fool so much, that we endure it!
Poor ol' Noel, how he stays on key is beyond me, but he loves it too. In my younger days, I managed a band he called "High Chaparral" for a short time, and I too would sing out at times and Noel just grinned and kept on playing.
Family is the best! I'm so blessed to have these crazies love me too.
Until we're all called away, we will keep on keeping on!
Hey, Mushy!
I just did a short post to convince other Knox bloggers to come out to Barley's on Saturday evening. I hope you can make it!!
Darn it, I'm booked this weekend - otherwise I'd be there!
Sorry, but remember me next time!
THAKING EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO BE TOGETHER
That has been my mission for the past three years, every chance, every opportunity, anything even if too small is a chance for us to get together. Gatherings with family and friends are the ones I sherish the most.
Cherry moonshine?! That sounds like it's worth a try.
It's dandelion season here in the great white north, so I'm gonna make me some wine soon. If I can find some fresh cranberries around here, I can make a killer "wild" wine recipe I have - otherwise dandelions alone will have to do.
Yeah...it's all about family and friends...grab'em and hold'em...life is short!
Looks like so much fun!! I wanna be adopted by the knights and dragons!
I also wanna be adopted by Joe Cool's family....
Come on! You're welcome anytime.
Me, me, me - please pick me! I'm up for adoption..I'm almost house trained, and only 'cuss when drunk.. (I even come with my own lap-top.)
