That's the question David McMahon asked this week.
Well, I've already answered that in a post back in November of 2006, called A Seasoned Bond!
I figured this was as good a time as any to reintroduce that post.

You were quite a naughty boy when you were young! Glad Tom sorted you out & you really looked up to him afterwards. Just proves that being firm sometimes is better than just giving into a child willy nilly! Good post.
Came via David but I have visited you before!
OH yeah, I remember that post. I must say my hero and role model was always my dad.
Thanks for the return trip Maggie, and Jose, you have been with me almost the entire journey...thanks!
This is the first time I read this story, and I really enjoyed it. You write very well. I can almost see him chasing you around. Wish I had the memory you did.
Oh wow.. black pepper? LOL
Ouch!
Someone I looked up to when I was a child was my maternal grandmother. She was more of a parent to me, than my own parents.
She didn't raise me, but she gave me the love I desperately needed. I'm lucky to still have her around! :)
I did spend the night with my grandparents once and woke up fairly early. I like you, snuck in to rouse them and after slinking over to my grandma's side of the bed, I pulled one of her eyelids up with my thumb and whispered, "Granma.. you in there?" She was pretending to be asleep, but she lost it in a fit of giggling.
I don't remember that incident, but she's told me about it a few times over the years. :)
Ah, thanks Old Soldier, those are mighty kind words.
The Mrs - Quite a funny story you told too!
It'd be hard for me to say who that was, or is. Hell, I'm still a kid, and still learnin'.
It's fun to go back and read that. Never gets old.
Maybe John Wayne.
