As much as it pains me, there isn’t a
day that goes by that I don’t remember.
On this Memorial Weekend, I remember those that I lost and those that we’ve all lost.
Thank God you were born American.
Thank God for those that made/make it possible.
Oh yeah, thanks for celebrating my birthday too!

Ohmigawd, I owe you big time now. You just triggered a reminder that it's our anniversary this weekend. I still have time to thaw out some filets and do up a special dinner!
This post is short sweet and to the point. And yet with tons of meaning. I too thank you and those that with your service and in many cases with their lives have given me the opportunity to live here in this wonderful country. Happy birthday to you, I hope there are many more to come.
