It's been 43 years since I was in Vietnam on Memorial Day. We had hot dogs and hamburgers even then...you do the same. I salute all the vets out there and even those that weren't!
Today, and on Veteran days, I call six of my friends who I know serve in Vietnam. I don't call them to chat - I call them to thank them for what they did. They appreciate it but not as much as I appreciate what they did. Thanks to you as well. Ralph

This is an account of my life, the best I can remember it. These accounts may spark memories of your own past!
“An infinite God can give all of Himself to each of His children. He does not distribute Himself that each may have a part, but to each one He gives all of Himself as fully as if there were no others.”

I will absolutely not forget! I admire all who go and know they are there for me. (And my nephew is a veteran, 82nd airborne.)
Mmmm...Joan...loved your cooking blogs...linked them from my cooking blog.
God bless, Mushy! We had a fine day. You saw my piece about William R. Caddy, the Congressional Medal honoree, so you know we remember.
