TACOS AND PUPPY DOGS

Monday night was taco night at Tracy’s. No, it’s not a tradition, but about once a month Tracy decides to make her mom some delicious tacos. So, Judy and I throw a diet Mountain Dew and Coke into the car and drive the 15 to 20 miles across the county for some family fellowship.

The tacos are always great, but the real treat is visiting, having fun with our daughter and granddaughter, and the ever energetic Roxy, the new Boston terrier addition to the family.

Katie always has to sit or lay against her Granny, for some social grooming, and general flea removal!

Kristin, Katie’s life long friend, was there to make Tracy fell less left out of the grooming session going on across the table.

Eddie, well, Eddie never lets anything get between him and his taco! Kind of like me, only he never seems to grow like I do!

Roxy was all dressed out in her new University of Tennessee sweater. Little does she know that the team sucks this year!

On the way over Judy told me about the sweater and said, “I’ll have to have Tracy try it on while we’re there.”

I said, “Wow, I want to see that!” That’s when she smacked me.

  1. Yeah, sorry about your Vols. They do not look too good. Same with my BC Eagles. They're beating up on the 1-AA teams, but lost their only game close to a test - Georgia Tech. I don't see good stuff in the future for either of us, this year...

  3. Don't care much for the spicy filling---but I love the shells!(Try bologna between two soft-shells!)

And, don't worry---Eddie will start "growing", once he gets more "mature", like the rest of us old-wines...!

  6. Poor Roxy, she needs some a little Crimson to bring out her true beauty.

Bostons are great dogs, we have two.

  7. Hilarious! You're SUCH a perv. The pooch is cute as hell, and I loves me some tacos. Our own UT, the other one, is doin' ok, I guess. I don't pay much attention. I understand they put a whuppin' on Arkansas last weekend.

  8. You're absolutely correct Roshell, I've thought seriously about being a 'Bama fan this season. After all, I was born near Florence!

Are you sure you aren't kin to me? Do you know a pretty lady named Jenna?
