LEFT TO OUR OWN DEVICES AGAIN!

Do you remember back when I posted about Steve gettin’ on his Mustang (click here), well, we were left to our own devices (doing what we please) again today, and the ol’ hundred mark rolled around again!

Ron is in California, visiting his brother, and the girls were out and about by themselves shopping on a beautiful spring day in Knoxville. The sky was as blue as could be and the temperatures pushed up near 70 – just right for convertible weather!

Steve and I perused Gander Mountain without parting with a dime, but we then made the mistake of heading to Best Buy!

As the weather dictated, outside sat a beautiful Boxster all dressed in red with the top down! Inside, Steve could not resist a Wii with Wii Fit add on! He intends on losing about 15 to 20 pounds using it, so I’ve decided to get one IF that happens!

At the Smoky Mountain Brewery, we each had a burger and 3 drafts! Yummy!

So, on the way home Steve dropped the top and put the pedal to the metal!

Man, do I love the sound of that thing! Brings back such sweet memories!

Even though my first was a Chevy, I was always partial to the Mopars back then. You know, when they were still REAL "muscle-cars" available, in all FOUR American-brands....!!!

Always will be a Ford man at heart. My uncle just traded his Lincoln truck for a Chevy with all that plastic all over it...I almost cried!

Sounds like a great fun day, out and about. I'm sellin' my land. Never gonna build on it now that I'm workin' in Saba. So, in the next few months I'll have all my bills paid, and maybe be able to make a down payment on something loud and fast.

And by the way, there's a spot on the road to Saba where my Solara loves to go fast. 110 is the most so far.

Ugh! We're still battling the odd snow storm warning here. No fair - I wanna be THERE.

Even my 93 with 160,000 miles on the odometer is still a thrill to drive. I just love Mustangs and will upgrade someday to a newer model.

Nothing like cruising with the top down after a great meal. Nothing.

I love convertibles in great weather, but I admit that I'm a chicken when it comes to going fast. I start to get a little nervous at anything over 85 on the freeway.

You would get run over going through Knoxville if you drove any slower than 80! I guess we just can't drive 55!
