THANK GOD SHE’S BACK!

Judy returned home late Sunday night and I was so happy. I have been sick since last Sunday and that made me miss her even more. I used to think I wanted her to go first so she wouldn’t be lonely, but I’ve changed my mind, I want to go first! She has her daughter and granddaughter, her sisters, and me, well, I have a lot less. Sorry, I’m just feeling sorry for myself I suppose. As soon as I shake this cough, I’ll be okay!

Anyway, they talked like they had a ball on the Carnival ship The Valor, sailing around the eastern Caribbean for seven days. First stop was the Bahamas, the St. Thomas, and then St. Maarten or Martin (St. Maarten is the Dutch side of the island and St. Martin is the French side of the island).

It seems they thoroughly enjoyed Senor Frogs where they apparently don’t check ID cards!

I also heard that my Katie Bug, and her best friend Sarah, visited a nude beach on the French side (naturally) of St. Martin. Did they join in the freedom of the beach…they won’t say. However, from the photos it seems the girls did a lot of bikini-prancing around the ship looking for boys!

The sleeping arrangements were a little more complicated than my Gatlinburg weekend – Mike, a friend of Tracy and Eddie’s stayed in their room, while Sarah bunked with Judy and Katie. Even with balcony rooms, that sounds a tight to me!

Apparently the food on the ship was not as good as it was on previous cruises, but I don’t think anyone lost any weight!

Anyway, she’s home and I’m very, very happy!

Sounds like they had a great time. Hope you get to feelin' better, with a little TLC. Give 'em a squeeze for me.

Feel better, my friend. And I hope neither one of you ever goes. How's that? :-)

I know they had a great time, because there's just no way you cannot have a good time on a cruise. I have' done Carnival yet but Royal Caribean was good to us twice already.

Hey, a shot of tequila with lemon should cure what ails you, or at least it will get you drunk. Either way, get better soon.

Sounds like a classic case of "don't ask...don't tell" to me! ;-)

Great pics!

Take care of that cold, being "down" is a drag...My back in in it's second week of being out of wack, and taint no fun....Never been to St Martin, but I know my mom and our cousin used to go there on occasion She used to bring me back 'Duty Free' large bottles of Drambuie for $18, they were running about $35 stateside at the time, so I always had her max her limit.

Well, damn, looks like a fun time was had by everybody but you! Hope you're back up to snuff.

BTW, I'm definitely dying first! I already have dibs on death:)

I've seen people get addicted to those cruises.

Nude beaches, heat, sand sun...

Alcohol...

I can see why.

Damn, I feel better already! I thought that I was the only one with plugged sinus, and a sore chest from hackin' and coughin'! Wife's had it first, still got some hacks! You think maybe I got from---NAWWW!

YOUR wife is liable to take-off for ANOTHER cruise, if she sees you hackin'! Just so she won't, be sure and follow her around ALL DAY---REAL CLOSE-LIKE........!

YESH ... Judy's back! No more of that big lonely house nonsense for
a while!

Bet she had a great time watching the two little gals looking for grown-up excitement. Sorry to hear that the food was just so-so though, seems like the main reason folks go on cruises.

You have that same sinus, tight cough nonsense, too? I definitely want to go first (and soon) if this stuff keeps up.

Aw, 'tisn't 'til they're gone that you realise how much you need 'em, is it? Sorry to hear you've been poorly, I'm sure Mrs. Mushy will soon have you up and about in no time at all. A little tender, loving care always goes a long way to making folk better.

I visited a nudist beach in San Tropez once - mind, I was 23 at the time - there is no way I'd ever go back there now! (Shudder..)

Welcome home, Judy! I hope you're feeling better, Mushy. That cruise sounds like a blast. I've always wanted to visit St. Martin -- it looks gorgeous in the pictures/movies that I've seen.
