I SAY GOODBYE, YOU SAY HELLO

In case you care, communication with me and from me may be infrequent over the next couple of weeks. I go in for the following procedure tomorrow morning – please keep a good thought!
It is outpatient, so as soon as the drugs wear off and I feel like typing with one hand (my left), I’ll be back. However, if I do come back before the effects wear off…please forgive me for anything I may say or post!

In the meantime, entertain yourself with pictures of my big chunk of the world at FLICKR.

Good luck and I will be thinking of you until you post again. I hope you do post "under the influence", though. I would feel a lot less lonely for it... LOL!

Huh, neat pics, describing your surgery! Thank goodness you aren't scheduled for prostate surgery---would definitely have made some revealing pics!!! Gonna be a bear of a time wipin' for the next few weeks, ain't it? (Betcha didn't think of that, did you?) Swallow a few extra pills for me while you're at it! Catch up with you when you "feel write" again!

I've got a dirtbike riding buddy who landed on his shoulder a few too many times and had it "scoped" and cleaned out, twice - his biggest complaint was yammering about the amount of time he couldn't ride. Good luck and heal up and you'll really feel wonderful afterwards, when you're back to speed!! :-) Me, I only broke ribs and there's nothing for that besides ibuprofen.

Yep, take care and enjoy the drugs while ya got em. Nothin' to it these days, unless they get things mixed up at the hospital and you end up in the wrond operating room with a boob job. Now THOSE pictires would be interesting.

You know my thoughts will be with you my friend. Hope all goes well and get well fast, I don't want to go through Mushy withdrawls.

I find one can become quite proficient typing with one hand. My husband does it all the time. Refuses to learn the two handed method;)

Good luck!

Good wishes, prayers and good thoughts all sent your way. I almost had that surgery 2 years ago, but luckily I talked the doc out of it. I tried physical therapy and that actually worked.

Of course mine was obviously not as bad as yours is, just a slight tear.

I've heard the recuperation takes time, so you be careful and do just what the doctor orders.

Get Mrs. Mushy to type us a little update until you are able.

Today's the 26th, the anesthesia should be worn off and you should be sitting up leaning how to 'hunt and peck' with one hand on that computer keyboard.

Oh wait. If you do that, then Mrs. Mushy won't feel the need to wait on you hand and foot like the helpless injured man that you are. Milk it for all it's worth. Let her wait on you, pamper and pet you.

Seriously, feel better soon.

Good luck Mushy!

I think what debbie means to say is, you've milked this long enough, so lets get with it, for Christs sake.

She said that... I didn't.
